- Due to the distance to BASR and departure times there will be no camp site
inspections.
- Suggested camping style is “back packing”
- Scout build a kit for their home , the troop then can pick the one that they think is the
best and enter that one at the camporee. Please have a list of items and quantities for
each item in the kit and the number of persons it is to support.
- Food contest is best homemade trail snack or food.
- Scouts will need their water bottle filled and with them at all times.
- Scouts will need to wear old cloths, long pants and hiking boots. (they will be out in
thick brush)
- Scouts will need to pack a lunch for Saturday as they will not be returning to their
camp site to eat.
- Your Scouts can participate in their existing patrols, you can build patrols or work as a
troop. Each team should have 5 to 10 Scouts in it.
- Items in material list are per patrol unless otherwise specified.
- Each patrol should have a real first aid kit with them but they will need a fake first aid
kit as listed in the material list.
